Hi guys! Just want to share with you my greatest experience in South Korea. I just want to share with you how mesmerized I am with the Places I’ve visited there. Well, I would like to give all the credits to JoinEnjoy Travel Specialist for making my dream tour come true!
Well, I tried the “ ESSENCE OF SPRING” package. So it is a 4 Days 3 Nights tour in Jeonju and in Seoul. You’ll just spent around $878 (ALL –In) or in peso around Php 41,700.00. This includes our airfare, meals (breakfast,lunch and dinner which are really really great!), hotel accommodations and tours and transfers. We also have an English Speaking Guide.
So, I will be sharing my per day experience there. Hope this would help you decide what kind of Korea tours fits your interests.
We arrived at Incheon Airport at around 4:50am (Korea Time) via Jeju Air. As our group meets the Tour Guide, we already proceed to the bus and took our breakfast in a City restaurant.( A great way to start a tour!hehe) After that we went to Jeonju area where our Guide said it was chosen last 2012 as “ Creative City of Gastronomy”. One thing I am excited for??? FOODS! FOODS! FOODS!!
And you know what makes it more special? We walked around the village IN HANBOK! We felt that we are ancient Koreans. Some dressed like emperors, and princesses, etc. So much enjoyment!
We tried 12 popular street foods, such as Strawberry Red Bean Mochi, Meatball Skewer, Grilled Skewer, Shrimp Dumplings, PNB Choco Pie, Octopus Skewer (however with our own expense, we spent around 2,000KRW each, to try every street foods).
After, we experienced making one of the most popular foods in Korea the “bibimbap” it is bowl of rice with different topping. Like this one;
After a super tiring day, we checked in in our Hotel ( Jeonju Lewin Hotel). Rest Time!
On the second day, we ate breakfast in our Hotel. And we visited Mt. Mai. If you’re like me who is a nature lover, then you’ll sure appreciate this mountain, and also the stone Towers you will see here.
We transferred afterwards to Yongin, for EVERLAND EXPERIENCE! In this place, I was fascinated by the beautiful tulips, and other flowers everywhere. It’s like a paradise. We were able to see also the Night parade which is really awesome and the Fireworks display. I am so inlove!
And then, we checked in in our 2nd hotel, May place hotel, which is near Dongdaemun Night market.
On our 3rd day, we were able to visit, Gyeongbok Palace, National Folk Museum, and Blue House; These places are located in one area , including the Cheongwadae or the “President’s Bluehouse”. You will be amazed on how the Korean people preserved the palaces their ancestors built. In this picture, we are in front of the National Folk Museum.
We also visited Namsan Seoul Tower at night, which is a really nice place.
We also visited some Korea Poduct shopping areas, such as Duty Free shop, Cosmetic shop (my favorite). And most especially my most waited shopping time, Myeongdong Streets. Myeong-dong also has family restaurants, fast food, plus Korean, Western and Japanese dining options. Many restaurants in Myeong-dong specialize in pork cutlet (donkas) and kalguksu (thick noodles). Other businesses include hair salons, banks and theaters. Myeongdong Catholic Church is also a well-known tourist attraction. It is pillar of the Catholic church in Korea and was built in the Gothic style. Behind the church is a quiet space for relaxation.
After that, we went back to our Hotel.
Our last day was memorable also. We visited Yoonjungro Cherry Blossoms Streets, and Han River Park.
We took our Lunch at Ashley Buffet which is located in Han River also. Afterwards we took a Cruise for about 1 hour and 30 minutes cruise in Han river. On the cruise, you can see Hangang River’s beautiful scenery, the surrounding islands, Jeoldusan Park, the 63 City Building, N Seoul Tower, Jamsil’s Multi Sports Complex, and other famous tourist spots. The cruise is often used for weddings, birthday parties, music performances and other events. The live concerts connect piano playing with singing voices, and will live on in memories. During the summer, the docks also offer motor boat rentals.
After the Cruise, we headed to Incheon airport, we spent about 45minutes but we stop by a Korean Cookie Grocery for last minute pasalubong shopping. It is about 15 minutes away from the airport.
